.tick tock tick tock.

Christmas dinner was good! the place was Louisiana seafood or something like that, at Plaza Kelana Jaya. The whole event was alright, the manager made the new recruits, the ones who joined the department from october onwards to perform on stage. in front of 100+ people from our audit p department. so my team, there were about 9 of us, had to dance for lady gaga's bad romance and it was awful! ahah. we had only figured out one hand movement and it was sort of like a spontaneous performance, so there was not much time to prepare. thank god for the funny guys in my team who started doing funny chicken like jumping monkey movements/dance which were super weird and hilarious at the same time. the crowd was cheering for us. probably because we made ourselves look like fools =.= and they made us perform another round! gaahhh!! so embarrassing!


and then after, we had the gift exchange session, and guess what i got. an alarm clock. like so wtf. my friend said that the Chinese believe that when a person gives another a clock, it means death is very close by for the person who is receiving the clock =.= so anyway, i dont think that person wants me to die or something, but never the less, its a super lame gift, and i dont see the point in having gift exchange sessions in events like these. because most people are going to end up with gifts that they don't like. and its a waste of money!


anyway, back home, mom saw the clock and said wth, it looks so pasar malam. ahhaha. the next day, i had half day off cos they were having their annual dinner and had to prepare for it, and interns weren't invited for that. met up with Kel for lunch in one u, then we went around looking for a gift since she has the same gift exchange session for her christmas dinner next week. and guess what....i saw my stupid alarm clock on display at a gift shop! lol obviously i went in to check out the price =.= it was 29.90 and on 30% discount. so well, it still didn't reach the minimum value!! gaaah. ok so i really hate what i got. cos i made the effort to go buy something that was of quality and something that a person actually likes! tell me who doesn't like chocolates? but a clock? an alarm clock?? seriously?? i wake up just fine with my phone alarm.
